A strong signal for sustainable healthcare and a great success for our collaboration: The Solingen Kidney Centre was featured in the Solinger Nachrichten for its pioneering measures to conserve resources. With the introduction of our “Smart Dialysis” solution we forecast annual savings of around 55,000 kWh of energy., 24.5 tonnes of CO₂ and 575,000 litres of water.
The solution was developed together with the Bethanien Hospital and includes, among other things, our sector networking with Photovoltaic system, Heat pumps and Hot water tank, which through our GreenTec Performance System (GPS) digitally monitored. In addition to the ecological effect, the system also significantly reduces the administrative effort and operating costs.
“Dialysis is a very energy-intensive process. With Smart Dialysis, we are making a decisive contribution to the ecological and economic sustainability of our medical services,” explains Dr Christoph Zwernemann from the Solingen Kidney Centre.
We are delighted that our customer’s commitment has now also been publicly recognised and that we were able to make a contribution as a partner. We would like to thank the team at the kidney centre for their trust in our expertise.
