"Thanks to the close collaboration with GreenTec Dialysis, a modern dialysis practice has been created. The sophisticated technology helps us to save energy and water. The challenging relocation was also successfully mastered together – a great result for patients and the team." This is how Dr. Christine Reichert-Jünger (Medical Director) sums it up.

Implementation: 2024
Solutions in use: HE.RO with connection to a heat pump, GreenTec Performance System (GPS) Smart Water/Smart energy, water technology

Description of the project

The old dialysis practice has moved to new premises.
In close collaboration with the client and the architects of the Dialysis.Planning.Group, a new building was developed that combines ecological and economic aspects.

Our services as GreenTec Dialysis GmbH:
As the general contractor, we first carried out specialist technical planning for medical technology and planned our sustainability platform to enable dialysis treatments to be performed in a more resource-efficiently in the future.

To optimally implement the economic and ecological aspects in water treatment, we installed our Smart dialysis concept. This includes our Cross-Sector Integration, here with our HE.RO and connection to the building’s central heat pump (central heating system), as well as our GPS control and monitoring software. The existing reverse osmosis system was relocated, and we installed new permeate and concentrate ring lines.

Together with our client, we successfully managed the complex relocation of all equipment and dialysis stations within a tight timeframe.

We call the combination of our Cross-Sector Integration and our GPS “Smart Dialysis®“. Smart dialysis enables our customers to save costs while consuming less energy and water.
This brings us as an industry closer to the goal of green dialysis.

Benefits

  • Savings in electricity consumption and CO₂ emissions through preheating drinking water using thermal energy from the central heating system
  • Relief for staff through the digitalisation of documentation activities (e.g. daily log)
  • Savings on service costs through the digitalisation of the water treatment system (remote monitoring)
