Why Team Time Matters to Us
Being unavailable for day-to-day business for three days is a challenge for us. Even so, we deliberately make time for it several times a year. Why?
Making Time for Topics That Get Overlooked in Everyday Business
Our daily work keeps us extremely busy. Our colleagues work across different locations and are involved in a wide range of projects. The task list is long, and there is always something that requires attention.
Day-to-day operations are focused on moving projects forward, responding to customer enquiries, and dealing with short-term priorities. As a result, topics that are important but not urgent often fall by the wayside.
Our quarterly meetings are designed to create space for exactly these topics. We take a step back to review existing processes, discuss new approaches, and focus on areas that deserve more attention than everyday work allows.
The Most Valuable Conversations Are Often Not on the Agenda
For the latest GreenTec Quarterly 2026, our team came together in the Harz region. Strategic topics and internal processes were on the agenda. We discussed current challenges and worked on issues that often receive too little attention during day-to-day operations.
Just as important as the official programme is the time in between.
Shared meals and leisure activities create opportunities for conversations that rarely happen in the normal working day. These moments often lead to fresh perspectives on existing challenges or spark ideas that later develop into concrete projects. They also help us grow closer as a team.
Personal interactions make many things easier. Misunderstandings can be resolved more quickly, experiences are shared more naturally, and complex connections become easier to understand.
Face-to-Face Meetings Still Matter
Many of our discussions take place digitally. This works very well in everyday business and enables flexible collaboration across different locations.
At the same time, every Quarterly reminds us of the value of meeting in person. These occasions strengthen mutual understanding and help ensure that we continue to work towards the same goals.
Taking New Ideas into the Months Ahead
This Quarterly once again demonstrated how valuable these shared days are.
We are leaving with fresh ideas, concrete tasks for the months ahead, and the confidence that we are part of a truly great team.
