Description of the project
The clients were faced with the task of modernising their renal centre during ongoing operations. This involved expanding the treatment areas and modernising the technology, as well as giving the treatment rooms a more appealing design for patients and staff.
In close cooperation with the customer and architects, a concept was developed that combines ecological and economic aspects for a more sustainable dialysis centre.
Our services as GreenTec Dialysis GmbH:
As the general contractor, we first carried out a needs analysis in various areas (nursing, medical, technical) and a product-neutral market analysis.
To create the flexibility needed to carry out the renovation during ongoing operations, we first had to expand the medical equipment by 6 treatment stations. To save resources during the renovation, it quickly became clear that, for example, the substructures of the media rails should be reused. This saved a significant amount of material, which also reduced costs.
We installed our Smart Dialysis concept consisting of Cross-Sector Integration, here with our HE.RO in combination with a Heat pump and our GPS (GreenTec Performance System) as monitoring software. We integrated a double-stage reverse osmosis system from B.Braun into our system.
We call the combination of Cross-Sector Integration and our GPS “Smart Dialysis®“. Smart dialysis® enables our customers to save costs while consuming less energy and water.
This is how we are getting closer to the goal of green dialysis.
