Implementation: 2025
Solutions in use: HE.RO with connection to a combined heat and power plant (CHP), GreenTec Performance System (GPS) Smart Water, Smart Energy
Description of the project
The Heidenheim Clinical Centre was to receive a new dialysis unit.
Our services as GreenTec Dialysis GmbH:
As the general contractor, we implemented our Smart Dialysis concept, which includes our Cross-Sector Integration, here with our HE.RO heat exchanger and connection to a combined heat and power plant, as well as our GPS monitoring software.
In addition, we installed and integrated a two-stage reverse osmosis system from B.Braun, combined with hygienic hot disinfection and an orbitally welded permeate ring line (V4A).
We call the combination of our Cross-Sector Integration and our GPS “Smart Dialysis®“. Smart dialysis® enables our customers to save costs while consuming less energy and water.
This brings us as an industry closer to the goal of green dialysis.
Benefits
- Savings in electricity consumption and CO2 emissions through preheating of drinking water using thermal energy from our HE.RO heat exchanger
- Relief for staff through digitalisation of documentation tasks (e.g. daily log)
- Savings on service costs through digitalisation of the water treatment system (remote monitoring)
About our customer
The dialysis unit is part of Heidenheim Hospital.
